It was one fine CNY morning, all we can think of is just to enjoy ourselves in somewhere so that we do not have to suffer from the warm day here in Ipoh.

So we had decided to travel to Cameron Highland.

It was indeed a fun day because we did alot of crazy stuffs there.

I took alot of stupid pictures there and I was one of the photographers that day. ^^

I feel so sorry to my blog.It's been ages since I've updated my blog and I wanted to apologize to my blog.
Sorry, blog :(

I guess today I won't post any picture or any advertisements in this post.
I just wanted to express my feelings these days (School holidays/Year-end).
It's almost the end of 2009....and everything is going to change again.
I remember year 2008 until today...everything has changed...and it's end of 2009.
There'll be another change in my life...
Actually, this is not really the style I blog....but there're some people...some incidents and something that had inspired me how to blog today. I should say thank you to them.

During the holidays, my friends and I spent times together and from there I've seen alot.
I've seen people with bad personalities.
I've seen hypocryte.
I've seen good people....

Actually, I baked cakes,baked buns with my friends.(Happy times)
I went shopping with my friends.(Happy and Bad times=It depends)
Stay at home online.(Bad times)
Spent money(It depends...mostly sad moments)
and etc.

Of all these activities, 10 out of 8 of them are times I spent with my friends.
Do you know that most of my thoughts or inspirations are from my friends?
This shows that friends to me are important and most of the times...they hurt me most because I know I wouldn't find other friends who share the same common interest.
These days...something happened and this incident keeps buggin' me and I don't feel good about this.

I just don't understand something...
Why those good things keep changing into bad things....

Now there's this feeling to me...and I don't know what feeling was that...It's really bugging me. I DON'T LIKE THIS!!!Somebody help me please...
I wanted to cry but I don't know why I need to...
Now I wish that everything get settled...

My friends,Poi Yee,Germaine and myself had booked an appointment to pay a visit to a lab in Ipoh to get infos about the development of microorganisms since we've been given a task to do a research in our lower six lives...

I was late for 10 minutes just now...We've all promised to wait there at 3pm...but I didn't manage to make it on time...hehe...sorry people...

Then we waited for Mr. Chen XX...
We thought he was going to make it...but at the end...he didn't turn up...

And we went up to the mini lab...

I was having a plan to start a small business like freelance work or something to earn a lil money...

Since weeks ago, I wasn't quite sure why should I practice my piano.
After I found out that London College Music Grade 8 Syllabus was tough....
I've then decided to practice my piano(fingering and so so) every morning soon after I've sent my sister to school every morning=.=
I hate sending my sister to school....
She just can't get up earlier every morning...
EVERYTIME HAVE TO URGE ME TO DRIVE FASTER!!!
I drove about 70+ this morning...

Oh well, I've practiced my piano everyday since Sunday...

But it ended up with such horrible music....

She's lost her husband...divorced for several times!!The most pitiful thing is that she doesn't have a chance to take care of her children...

Yes!It's year 2008!New year, new resolutions and I'm older anyway...
First of January...again, my birthday...another boring birthday celebration and the worst thing was something really unhappy happened few days ago...
Which was the incident happened to my cute doggie...'DeeDee'...It's my birthday!!And she's in the clinic!!(Ipoh Garden)...Vet Clinic owned by Doctor Goh.The doctor told us that the dog had too much indigested food stored in her intestines which caused to constipation...but she's alright now...We bought lots of product from the doctor by the way...

Then here comes the happiest moment of my birthday!!I had one slices of chocolate moist cake this afternoon!!And I had another one this evening....Fat!!!Regrete but I enjoyed it...

Then my brother took me to buy sport shoes...(Power) not Nike...
He was going to buy that for me but since he tell me that Nike is selling cheaper in Singapore than in Malaysia...so I've to wait the day comes....

It's December(which means it's the christmas month)....
Lights and cute decorations are everywhere in towns...
Do u guys know there's actually an ice bar in the Curve?
For your information...an ice bar is actually a place where you can feel the chill and at the same time you can have alcoholic drinks...
I know there're a lot of ice bars in Korea but I didn't realise there's finally one in the Curve...But they actually don't allow people who're below 22 to go in...This is what they called...."The age limit"...sounds pretty serious huh?I bet it does....lolz

Well, as you know...there're christmas decorations everywhere....You can see more lights or disco lights everywhere....Especially in KL,Damansara,Up Town,Centre point,Midvalley and etc...Singers are singing every night for the celebration of christmas month in the Curve...Night views there are spectacular...Everything's on sale now!!!Muahaha....

Recipe
CHOCOLATE MOIST CAKE

2 c. flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. cocoa
1 c. oil
1 c. hot coffee
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Combine all ingredients except black hot coffee. Mix. Add hot coffee. Batter will be thin. Pour into 9x13 pan. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
When cooled, combine cream cheese, milk and powdered sugar. Frost then serve.

In Beijing (Peking), hot pot is eaten year-round. Typical Beijing hot pot is eaten inside during the winter. Different kinds of hot pot can be found in Beijing - typically, more modern eateries offer the sectioned bowl with differently flavored broths in each section. More traditional or older establishments serve a fragrant, but mild, broth in the hot pot, which is a large brass vessel heated by burning coals in a central chimney. The history of chocolate is very diverse from its naming to its creation.

Etymology
The name chocolate most likely comes from the Nahuatl language, indigenous to central Mexico, although it may have been influenced by the Mayan languages. One popular theory is that it comes from the Nahuatl word xocolatl (IPA /ʃo.ko.latɬ/) derived from xocolli, bitter, and atl, water.[1] (Xocolatl was a chocolate drink consumed by the Aztecs, associated with the Mayan god of Fertility). Origins
The chocolate residue found in several jars from the site of Puerto Escondido in Honduras, from around 1100 B.C. is the earliest evidence to date of the use of cacao. Slightly later, around 600-400 B.C. there are traces from jars in Belize. The Aztecs associated chocolate with Xochiquetzal, the goddess of fertility. In the New World, chocolate was consumed in a bitter and spicy drink called xocoatl, often seasoned with vanilla, chile pepper, and achiote, (which we know today as annatto). Xocoatl was believed to fight fatigue, a belief that is probably attributable to the theobromine content. Chocolate was an important luxury good throughout pre-Columbian Mesoamerica, and cocoa beans were often used as currency. Other chocolate drinks combined it with such edibles as maize gruel (which acts as an emulsifier) and honey.
The xocolatl was said to be an acquired taste. Jose de Acosta, a Spanish Jesuit missionary who lived in Peru and then Mexico in the later 16th century, wrote of it:

Christopher Columbus brought some cocoa beans to show Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain, but it was Hernán Cortés who introduced it to Europe more broadly.
The first recorded shipment of chocolate to the Old World for commercial purposes was in a shipment from Veracruz to Sevilla in 1585. It was still served as a beverage, but the Europeans added sugar and milk to counteract the natural bitterness and removed the chilli pepper, replacing it with another Mexican indigenous spice, vanilla. Improvements to the taste meant that by the 17th century it was a luxury item among the European nobility.

The original paella was a poor man's fare, which is why it is made with a little of everything a person may have on hand in the kitchen. "Paella" is the name for frying pan in Valencian, although as popularity for this dish spread throughout Spain, the pan has come be known as the paellera.
Paella is a typical dish from the Valencia Region. This recipe is for the traditional paella Valenciana, which is where the dish was first created. But many different varieties of paella are enjoyed; for example, in some regions of Valencia paella is cooked using more seafood such as shrimp, mussels and clams.

Ingredients

-500g (1 lb.) chicken
-500g (1 lb.) rabbit
-480g (1 lb.) medium grain rice
-350g (3/4 lb.) paella vegetables (big haricot beans "garrofó", small haricot beans "tavella", green beans "bajoqueta (de ferraura)"/"judías verdes", red peppers and green peppers optional)
-24 snails (optional)
-120g (1/4 lb.) tomatoes
-1.5 L (4 cups) of water
olive oil, salt, paprika ("pebre roig"/"pimentón dulce"), saffron, rosemary.

Procedure

Clean the snails, chicken and rabbit thoroughly. Cut the chicken and the rabbit in small pieces and salt them generously. Pour olive oil in a paellera and, when hot, quickly stir-fry the chicken and the rabbit pieces. When they have browned, add the tomato and stir-fry until well cooked, then add the vegetables and stir-fry til they reduce. Add a pinch of paprika and stir-fry for one or two minutes.

Before the paprika gets burnt, pour the water into the paella (you might find it best to pre-boil the water first). Add saffron and salt to taste. (If you've never used saffron before, start with a pinch, about 10 threads.)

Add the snails if you are using them. Bring everything to a rolling boil and let it bubble for about 10 minutes. Correct for the evaporation of the water by adding a little extra water as needed.

Add the rice and stir. Spread the rice over the pan (it should be less than 1 cm thick) and let it simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes, and then reduce the heat to low and let simmer gently for a further 10 minutes.

When the rice is almost dry, remove pan from the heat, place some small branches of rosemary over the rising rice, and let the rice absorb the remaining liquid. Cover with cloth or sheets of newspaper for about 10 minutes. Once the rice is dry the paella is ready to be served.

It has two meanings which are as follows :

1. A small ring-shaped cake made of rich, light dough that is fried in deep fat. Also called olicook.
Something whose form is reminiscent of a ring-shaped cake.

2. A fast, tight 360° turn made in a motor vehicle or motorized boat.

But what I'm talking about is a ring-shaped cake.

Doughnuts recipe

1 cup granulated sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
(about)
2 eggs
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons melted butter
Fat (for deep-fat frying)

How to make them...
Sift together sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour.

Beat eggs thoroughly, then stir into dry ingredients. Add the milk and melted butter. Roll about 1/2 inch thick on a floured board and cut with a doughnut cutter. Fry several at a time in 375 degrees F fat until nicely browned. Drain on paper towels. Dust with granulated or confectioners' sugar.
Makes 24.

Where does Chee Cheong Fun comes from?
So I've decided to search for the infomations...
Finally, I've found this...
It says...

Chee cheong fun are square rice sheets which are used in Singaporean cuisine and Malaysian cuisine
The sheets are made from a viscous mixture of rice flour and water. This liquid is poured onto a specially-made flat pan in which it is steamed to produce the square rice sheets. Chee cheong fun can be served with different flavour of sauce. In Malaysia, most of the people prefer serving Chee cheong fun with one kind of black sweet sauce called "timzheong". Some other prefer specially-made chilli sauce or mix two kind of sauce together.
There is another kind of food which is similar with Chee cheong fun called "laicheong" in Cantonese. This food is popular in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. The difference between Chee cheong fun and "laicheong" is "laicheong" does serve with stuffing (such as shrimp, pork or dough sticks) but Chee cheong fun does not. Besides, people use different sauce to serve these two kinds of food.

A gingerbread man is an anthropomorphic (human-like) figure made of gingerbread.
In many fairy tales dating back as far as the 19th century, gingerbread men "ran away" from various creatures or people who wanted to consume them.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, the world’s largest gingerbread man weighed 168.8 kg (372.13 lb) and was made by chefs at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Vancouver, Canada, on November 19, 2003. It measured 4.23 m (13 ft 11 inches) in height, 1.72 m (5 ft 8 inches) wide and 5.08 cm (2 inches) deep.

Have you ever heard or read something in a sushi bar and did not understand what it was? This is a list of common Vocabulary at a sushi bar.

Types of Sushi
Chirashi – sampler of fish served over a bowl of sushi rice

Donburri – Donburri is like Chirashi but just one kind of fish that you would choose.

For example Unagi-Donburri would be Just Unagi (freshwater eel) served over a bowl of sushi rice.

Futomaki – Thick rolled sushi with many ingredients inside and each piece is very large.

Gunkan Nigiri – A type of Nigiri that holds the ingredients like a boat, usually seen when ordering Tobiko, Ikura or Uni.

Hosomaki – Thin Rolled sushi with the Nori (seaweed) on the outside.

Maki –Sushi Rolls (There are many types of Maki, Futomaki, Hosomaki, Temaki, Uramaki, etc.)

Nigiri Sushi – Pieces of fish on top of two balls of sushi rice, sometimes a slice of roasted Nori (seaweed) is put on to bind the fish to the rice and to add flavor and eye appeal.

Sashimi – Only Sliced fish. Raw, cooked or pickled fish cut into 3-5 pieces. Usually presented on top of a few leaves of shiso and grated daikon with wasabi and ginger on the side.

Temaki – Cone shaped hand rolls that are meant to be eaten from the hand like an ice cream cone.Uramaki – Rice on the outside roll. Sometimes called inside-out roll. This style of sushi has become very popular and is most seen in sushi bars in America. Some people say that it is popular in America because the Seaweed is hidden on the inside of the roll and sushi beginners are less intimidated to eat it.

This is what we usually see and eat in the japanese restaurant.

The reason for this is that sushi(Japanese food) actually looks really attractive.Besides that, sushi is a really healthy food though it doesn't really taste as good as chinese food(this is what I think only).

Introduction To Angklung

Angklung is a musical instrument made out of two bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame. The tubes are carved so that they have a resonant pitch when struck. The two tubes are tuned to octaves. The base of the frame is held with one hand while the other hand shakes the instrument rapidly from side to side. This causes a rapidly repeating note to sound. Thus each of three or more angklung performers in an ensemble will play just one note and together complete melodies are produced. Angklung is popular throughout Southeast Asia, but originated from Indonesia (used and played by the Sundanese since the ancient times).

That's so cool, Rihanna's song(Umbrella) in played in Angklung!!
20th century, the angklung was adopted in Thailand, where it is called angkalung (อังกะลุง). The Thai angklung are typically tuned in the Thai tuning system of seven equidistant steps per octave, and each angklung has three bamboo tubes tuned in three separate octaves rather than two, as is typical in Indonesia.
Angklung had also been adopted by its Austronesian neighbours, inparticularly Malaysia and the Philippines, where they are rather played as part of bamboo xylophone orchestras. They are generally played using a pentatonic scale similar to the Indonesian slendro, although in the Philippines, sets also come in the diatric and minor scales used to perform various Spanish-influenced folk music.

Yo!What's up everybody?

It's a happy journey to Ipoh International school to perform.We ourselves enjoyed the journey to the school.We saw quite a lot of handsome guys also...lolz.

After the performance,we went back to our school by bus and that's the end of the day.We took a picture of ourselves in the music room after that.

p.s. Wen Zhee looks really silly in the picture.

The journey back to Damansara

Well, my parents took us back to Damansara today and before we went to the Metro Kajang Developer's office and we went to T.T.D.I.
We had our lunch there, my cousins were with me...though they're young and cute but they're pure evil!!!I know they're half Malaysian and half Dutch...but they don't have to be so 'evil'!!But they're cute anyway...hehe...and I was playing with them, I just saw one of my favourite dancer Dennis,he was buying chicken rice there..one of his partner was with him as well...I'm so happy today but a little sad as well because something really unhappy happened to me.After that we went back to the show unit and have another look at those houses.And finally,I can have a chance to shop in One Utama!But my mom stopped me from buying everything there...sigh...such wet blanket...The day ended with tiredness...
We went back to Ipoh just like that.

My family and I were so happy because we finally found a place that we can sit down and have our dinner.

We were ordering food. This is how the waitress looks like.

The food finally came.It was the joyous moment!My brother looked just like a clown......with this happy moment of life...(lolz)

and he even show his big belly at this moment...

By the way....i've nice teeth...lolz

That's so happy!!Until......

The rain came...We were freezing by that time and we went home.(In between we rushed into the car and got all wet).We were wet but we enjoyed it anyway,the first experience of our life.It was cool and fun!

'Girls prefer clothes, boys prefer sports?'

If we were to consider the young people of, say, fifty years ago, the statement would be undeniably true. In those days, sport was a predominantly male persuit. The girl were considered the fairer sex and they were more concerned with how they look, thus the preference for beautiful clothes.

Is this statement really true? There are as many games for girls as there are for boys. Girls participate in almost all games boys play. Like, you know? Football, hockey, netball, table tennis and so much more. You wouldn't have to mention it all out. It's understood. Everybody knows girls can do many things way more better than guys sometimes.

Yes! It's true that majority of the girls love clothes but that doesn't mean they won't go for sports. What about yoga? What about netball? Huh? netball can only played by women. For example, Sharapova, she can play well in tennis. Besides that, she is having very good fashion styles. She's a model as well!

So why can't we, girls also can prefer sports? We have Girl Power! We can do so much better in both. Neither in sports nor in fashion world. I've changed so much more since i've joined in the hockey team. I've found greater potential in me. Girls don't only go for shopping and being weak. Sometimes girls are more aggresive than boys.
